We aim to get your purchase delivered to you as quickly and safely as possible. Find everything you need to know about our delivery service here.
How much will it cost to deliver my item?
When you shop online, delivery charges will automatically be calculated at checkout once you enter your postcode. We offer free local delivery for customers within our designated area. For locations outside our local delivery zone, charges will vary depending on the product and destination, with most mainland UK deliveries being free. We partner with trusted logistics companies to provide national delivery. If an item is in stock, we offer a next-day delivery service via parcel and one-man delivery to most locations. Please note, for larger items such as white goods or ovens, the one-man service can only deliver to the door and cannot bring items up any stairs or garden steps. For two-man delivery, we aim to deliver within 48 hours. This service includes bringing items to your room of choice and up to three flights of stairs. Please ensure you select the correct delivery service at checkout based on your needs. For multiple item orders, only one delivery charge will apply. We currently do not deliver to a small number of postcodes, including offshore areas. Delivery considerations
Here is a quick check list to help:
- Check the width and height of your front door and internal doors to be sure your product can be moved safely into your home;
- Check the width and height of any narrow areas in your house your item needs to go through. For example hallways, internal doorways and staircases;
- Let us know if there are steps and their condition in case we need to use any special lifting equipment;
- Remember to tell us if there are any tricky corners;
- We also need to know about any potential parking problems for our delivery van.
If access is restricted, we will consider removing internal doors and the doors of appliances to gain access. Where, in our view, this is straightforward the charge for removing internal doors is £20. If the removal of any doors is, in our view, more complicated, further charges will apply.
Our delivery guys are fantastic and it is rare that they cannot get something into even the most challenging of houses. However, on occasion safe and damage-free delivery is impossible, in which case we reserve the right to refuse delivery. If you are unsure about delivery, someone from our delivery team can visit your house to check. You can asl our customer service team for a pricing. Large item delivery
Large appliances such as side by side refrigerators can be especially challenging because of their size and weight. Doors need to be more than 60cm wide to accommodate delivery. It is possible to deliver where doors are not as wide but we may need to consider removing internal doors and the doors of appliances to gain access. There may be an additional cost for this.
Installation
We offer installation for all products in our local delivery area. Please be aware that unless specified our prices are for standard installations, this requires that the correct connections are in place. If any additional work is needed such as moving pipework we can organise for this to be done, however it would incur further charges.
For more complicated product installations such as built-in appliances or gas installation we work with a qualified third party installer who can undertake specialist gas and electrical work. Prices for these installations can vary depending on your requirements so please check with one of our team by emailing customer.services@knees.co.uk for prices.
We organise our deliveries so that our installer arrives at your property before delivery of your item, to disconnect the old appliance and be ready to install your new one.
